Look in your shoes before putting them on your feet
I was getting ready for work today and slipped on my shoes. The left foot felt a little tight like my sock wasn't on right. On the way out to the car, I could swear I felt a heartbeat in my left toe towards the side of my little toe. I slipped off my shoe and tapped it on the garage floor--out fell a bat! Ewwww.
He didn't bite me, but now I have a case of the heeby jeebies!

Don't buy charmglow grills
We purchased a brand new, stainless steel Charmglow grill on Memorial Day at Home Depot. It had all the features we were looking for and was quite spendy--$369.
It was time to retire the 14-year old Ducane and we wanted to upgrade a bit. The grill was picked up and we immediately put it to the test. It worked great!
This past weekend I noticed the lid opened a little further than normal. Upon closer inspection, there are two stops at the back of the grill that support the lid when it is opened. These two stops are held in place by two little tack welds, and the welds had broken.
We decided to move the grill to the new patio and when we lifted it, we heard POP POP. Guess what? The tack welds holding the ends of the grill to the frame had broken as well.
The grill was sold at Home Depot with a one year warranty.
There is a toll free number on the front of the grill to call for customer assistance. 800 527-0717
They're open 8-5 Central Monday through Friday. I called them today and sat on hold for 21 minutes before I had to disconnect. Later in the day, I tried calling several times and received a busy signal each time.
I would not recommend buying any Charmglow grills because of their poor workmanship, or anything from the Brinkman corporation because of their bad phone system. Customer service is not of concern for them!
If what you build works (Mag-lites), stick with it. Don't listen to your marketing people say to diversify if you cannot build a quality product. Just because you make good flashlights doesn't automatically make you grilling experts.
They get one star out of five for their call center--BAD!
